Here in Montalcino, where land and wine move together, we don’t follow strict rules when it comes to pairing. We sit at the table, taste, listen to the flavors, and let them guide us. Our dishes come from what we grow in our garden and from the rhythm of the seasons, while the wines naturally follow the moment. No frills, just honest flavors.

At Serendipity, to tell our story of food and wine, we’ve created two tasting paths that focus more on feelings than labels, more on balance than rules.

Young Vibes

This is our freshest and most immediate tasting, designed around young, lively wines that invite sharing and conversation. The pairings play with lightness and contrast: garden vegetables, bruschetta with freshly picked tomatoes, fragrant caponata, and stuffed zucchini flowers. These wines refresh the palate, support the food without weighing it down, and make each bite more dynamic. Perfect for those who love spontaneity, simplicity, and the pleasure of drinking without overthinking, ideally with the sun still high and a table full of conversation.

Sangio Master

This path is dedicated to deeper, more structured expressions, where pairings become richer and more enveloping. Think pappa al pomodoro, parmigiana, Cinta Senese cured meats, vegetable frittatas, and fresh goat cheeses. These are dishes that ask for time, slow bites and wines that can hold the character of the food while enhancing it. It’s a tasting meant to be enjoyed slowly, as the evening stretches on and the pace softens.

These are the pairings we truly make, the ones that come naturally when we sit down at the table without asking what should work, only what works for us.
